Dear Kit, and the Tate family; We just found out today about our dear friend George's passing. Billy and I are so sorry, and pray for all of you. He will be terribly missed.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and how much we value the memories of the good times in Leavenworth and Gulf Shores. George was special and will be truly missed. Pam and Mel

We are saddened to hear this news...we fondly remember times together at Fort Leavenworth s well as visiting George in Hawaii. His recent emails as he shared his thoughts about his battle with cancer were particularly touching. Our prayers are with Kit and the family. Ralf and Anne

George
Thank you for over 50 years of wonderful friendship. As the old Army poem says 'We will be with our friends on Fiddler's Green".

Diane...You're in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember the big smile on your face when your dad was visiting in Foxboro.

Diane and family,
Sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I hear he was a very special man. My thoughts are with you during this sad and difficult time.

Dear Diane,Cathy and George,

It was so very sad to hear Big George is gone. A lot of great memories came rushing in, especially of our German/Spanish adventures when we were careening about Europe in Big Blue.
Your father was so very proud of you and we know you will miss him dearly.
Love from Barbara and Jon

Dear Kit, George Jr and Family,
