My heart goes out to the entire Thomas family in a time of such a great loss. I remember when George and my dad worked at my uncles grocery store back in the 1960s and early 70s, Pick-N-Pay. My mom would bring me to the counter where George worked in the meat department and he would sneak me a piece of ham as a regular routine when I came there. So sorry to hear of the passing of George. I remember him from years ago at The Melody Skating Rink in Groton. He was a very friendly man and I enjoyed talking to him when ever we came in contact. My prayers go out too his family.
