In the 80's and 90's George and I worked closely together in the Aeropropulsion Lab at W-P. We worked on advancing supersonic and hypersonic air-breathing engines including ramjets, scramjets, and various combined cycle engines. Our work focused on the basic and and applied research phases where we were determining feasibility prior to entering development of future weapon systems.
