George Timberlake

We were saddened to learn of Father Timberlake's passing. We grew up with him as our minister of our church in Grand Haven. Geoff served many services with him as an alter boy. My family was very close to his family growing up and I even took a car trip to Washington, DC with my grandmother Olive Harbeck and him when I was in 4th grade. We've lost track of the family over time but send our love and support during this time of grief and hope many happy memories abound! He was a wonderful...

I was honored to follow George as Associate in a congregation he served. I knew a warm, compassionate gentleman who was faithful in his priestly ministry and kind, gentle in his daily life. May God hold him with as much gentleness in love and care.

Reading his obituary, we are reminded of the phrase "a life well measured". Our thoughts are with your families at this time of celebration of his life.

What a wonderful, kind and loving man. He will be missed. I was one of his parishioners at St. John's in Grand Haven. It was a privilege to know him.
