Not sure what to say?

As a student at W&M '64 I worked for pro for about 3 years. I always loved being around him and janet and geo. Jr. I babysat a couple times. I always checked if he was going to hit practice balls and I would love to sit and watch if not working. This was pre golf cart times and all of us loved him to death including everybody' sfriend "Kitten". George told me about his times atUVA as a scholarship football player. He was also very adept in diving. Visited him at Gwynns island a couple times....

Yes this is late! The road to hell is paved with good intentions and mine were good but time has slipped by far to quickly. I met George about 10 years ago - we were immediate friends. Then I took golf lessons from him and drove home to his eye doctor when needed. He was a great man and a good golf coach. Most of all he was always warm and welcoming making me feel like we had seen each other the day before. I miss his golf tutelage , warm smile and jokes - no matter how many times I heard...

George was larger than life with a heart to match. A good friend, A wonderful story teller (no matter how many times you hear the same story) and a patient golf instructor. He always had jokes to tell and words of wisdom to share. There are a thousand funny stories to tell about George which will keep him in our hearts and memories forever. We will always love and missed you my friend. Rest in Peace.

George was always in a good mood, always had a joke and a smile, plus a few good stories! He and his wife were always nice people. My condolences to George Jr and Miss Janet. May God Bless

RIP my friend. I enjoyed your life stories as much as your golf lessons. You will be missed!

A kind and caring man who was one helluva golf coach. He will never run out of golf stories in heaven. RIP George. Pat and James
