After his aneurisym, I told Tanya she should take his banjo to him in the hospital in Seattle to aid his recovery. As soon as it was on his lap he started playing, and started his recovery. It brought tears to my eyes when he returned to the Folk Festival stage 2 years later. RIP George --- I know that you're having a great time up there jamming with Lester, Earl, and Bill in that heavenly band!
