1955 FOREVER!

To the Turner Family..may God's peace and comfort be with you all. We have fond memories of Mr. Turner and the whole Turner family as kids growing up on Gladwood Lane. I will always love seeing him smile when he would crank up his yellow 55 Ford F150. That is the smile I will always remember. Peace to you from the Romo Family.
Philip Romo

Mr. Turner was a constant in the Stults Road community - in our lives. On most days when we turned the corner on Gladwood; we shouted in unison, "Hi Mr. Turner!" He replied - with a smile, "How was school?" and a "Y'all be good." All of our school years we lived in the knowing that Mr. Turner would always be out in the yard, waiting on the neighborhood kids to pass-by, making sure that we had a good day at school and that we were good. On behalf of the neighborhood kids: Thank You! Rita Hanks...
