George was my dear childhood friend who lived across the street from me in Streator, Illinois. We went to grade school and high school together. I had the wonderful opportunity to connect with him after at least 20 years when he came to our high school reunion in 2013. I will always remember the wonderful huge smile he gave me when we saw each other- followed by a warm hug. it was like we were kids again. He is now with his mom and dad and his sister and others directing nightly music...
