Not sure what to say?

It´s been many years but Mindy and I still talk of George. I know he was waiting at the gate for his dear friend Mary Hogan Dean. Mary rejoined her husband Dan Dean and her old friends September 9, 2024. RIP

Here it is, 2 years later, and we're all (still) thinking about and missing this man. Hugs to those of you who were closest to George - and may all of us hold our memories of him close for the rest of our lives. Susie Hecht

Folks, October 8 this site will no longer have postings for George. I am not going to renew it. Thank you for your support and wonderful comments. I'm not sure who supported this site the first year, but whomever you are, thank you so much. It's meant alot to mom and I. If you have last thoughts or wish to sponsor this for a year, you have until October 7 and then it's over.

Bless and keep you. George would want you to be happy. "Wear a smile!", as he would say.

Everyday I think of you. I love you dearly and you'll always be there in my smile.

As we sat last night, making reservations for a trip to the coast in April, of course our thoughts went to George. Visiting the beach will never be the same now that the visit doesn't include time with George. We still do some of the things we did with George (antique stores, dinner at Sizzler) but it won't be as much fun. Miss you George. You're in our thoughts daily.

I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful family to grow up in as a child. My brother George was a blessing from the day he was born. Our entire family adored and loved him from June 1, 1961 and will continue to adore and love him through all of eternity. What a great little brother for a girl to have!

And to set the record straight, he was always cute and well liked! Just a sweetie pie. How did one guy have it all and yet leave us so early? Not fair.

When I count my...

My Dear Friend,
I miss you every day and wanted to let you know that I now regard you as my personal angel. On September 2nd (the day before your 1 year anniversary) I had the very same (open heart/valve repair) surgery that it would have taken to extend your life. Alan and I thank you for being my inspiration, for giving me strength and for watching over me during this time (and always) It's always good to have an "in" upstairs.
Cheers!

We can't believe it has been a whole year without you George. Not many days pass that you are not in our thoughts and you will always have a place in our hearts. Our thoughts are also with Mom, Marie, Rick, Rick, Jim, Matt and everyone who loved George on this anniversary. May next year be much easier on us all. Love you and miss you George.

Happy Birthday George! I bet you didn't know the love that everyone had for you before this time. Now you must be at such peace in Heaven knowing that the love followed you there and that your friends and family can still think of you and smile.
