Not sure what to say?

I'm sorry to hear about your loses of Mr. George and Mrs. Jackie Unseld.

George Unseld was a great boss and all the kids love him. You will be miss in this community.

I worked for him when he open up the child care center on Jefferson. I was one of the first that got hired. I love working for him.

He did meet no strangers they were all friends to him. That is what everyone love about him.

He will be truly miss and love.

A branch has been broken from the family tree, and we feel the loss. Cousin George leaves a void not only as a family member, but a community leader and father. May his spirit be remembered and good works last forever.

Janice Bishop-Carter one of the branches from the: Bishop, Barnes, Montgomery, Walker and Unseld family tree.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Unseld's passing. Went to Shawnee back in the day - but always remember the Unseld family. I pray for the family at this time.

George, my mentor, teacher, coach and family friend will be missed. My love goes out to all the family. Our community is enriched by the good heart, beliefs of Fairness and Justice and efforts of a true revolutionary. I am blessed to have known George for 30 years and will continue his fight for Justice and Equality for all.

On behalf of the artists, audiences, the board of directors, and co-founders of Juneteenth Legacy Theatre, thank you George, for being a very supportive friend on the Metro Louisville Council through JLT's eleven year-history of being Kentucky's only professional African American Theatre Company.

Thinking of You(Missy),

No words will never take away the sorrow you must feel. I know the cherished memories of your father will give you strength in the days ahead. I would like to "Thank You" for sharing your father with my children Deanna, Eddie and Edwin. He was an awesome role model for them and many other young people at the Newburg Boys/Girls Club. He was really the "Godfather of Newburg". What great times we all had at all the activities in Newburg. His spirit and...

Very sorry to learn of George's passing. I graduated with George and Jackie and enjoyed talking to them at reunions and reading in the paper of George's successful career and public contribution. They were both wonderful people that are missed. I am very sorry for your loss.
