Not sure what to say?

It is with a heavy heart that I learned of George´ s passing. He and Dorothy were so very kind and welcoming. I did all their painting inside and out of their home on Highland circle for over 20 years in total. George was always cheerful and so welcoming to me. Dorothy always looking out for me, making sure I-had water to drink. Outstanding couple! Talked about his children and grandchildren all the time. Always asked about my daughters and how they were doing ! George and Dorothy will be...

Condolences to all family members

My memories of George (and Dorothy) go back to my earliest memories of my life. From Kenya, to Amherst and the decades since, the friendship of your parents and my parents was never lost. We will miss George and hold his memory close to our hearts. Kevin Wilk

I am so sorry to hear of Georges passing. I have many fond memories of family reunions in South Haven at his parents home. He was a cousin of my Dad, Walter Urch. Dorothy & George, Marilee, George & Ida will always be remembered as a family I loved dearly growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with his children and their families.

May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time. Hopefully, your father and I will meet in heaven so we can once again play handball.

George was a calm, classy guy. He served on the AIFS Foundation Board for many years and made many positive contributions to our work and the field of international education. Always a gentleman in the classic sense, George will be missed by his many friends at AIFS.

George was a fine man, a dedicated colleague, and an inspiration to so many.

I am forever grateful for his enthusiastic influence on my career in public education. What a great man! A sad loss. The world is a better place for having had George Urch in it.
