Not sure what to say?

Mr. George Vann was "Judge" Vann to me. Although I never had the honor of practicing law before him, I knew he deserved respect within a few minutes of first meeting him. He was a thoughtful and welcoming man. He was hospitable, sharing and more than patient with the band of folks his son Bobby (my good friend) invited to his lovely home on Lake Michigan. I will never forget those days and thank him and Ruth for sharing their home with us!

Ruth and family,
So sorry to hear of George's passing. He became a very close friend in the mid '60s and continued until retirement. I can remember talking basketball with him many evenings. He introduced me to John Baratto in the mid 60's on a trip in which he took me to an E. C. Washington BB contest and we met with "coach" afterwards for some cocktails. I will never forget his advice and friendship! REST IN PEACE!
All my condolences and prayers!

Rest in everlasting light and peace, Judge. I'll always remember that wonderful smile when you stopped in to use the library for a minute.

R.I.P. Cookie!!

We were fortunate enough to live across from George. He was Mr. Hospitality, greeting everyone, always with a smile and often a story. Ogden Dunes is am emptier place without him.

The last time I saw and spoke with Cookie was at Bobby Pastrickis wake. My brother - Rchard Schultz Culp and I grew up with cookie. Fantastic boy and man. I also remember that fantastic basketball forever.
