We were George's neighbors on Madison St. for several years and he always came into our place with a big smile. He was a man with a huge heart and he will be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear of George's passing. He was like a second father to my daughter, Sarah, who worked as a waitress for him while going to graduate school. He was always there for her with good fatherly advice like, "Listen to your mother!", which I liked. He treated me like family when I came to visit. Wonderful man.

George touched so many lives, creating family among all who knew him. No one can replace the space left by his passing.
