My condolences to Johnnie Mae and his family. To say he was a good man wouldn't cover it. He saved mine and my children's lives and helped us learn a new way of thinking and living. He was more than just my Doctor, he was my friend and treated my children with love, care, and respect. There's not a year that has gone by I haven't thought of him. My condolences to Jonnie Mae and family. I knew George for 40 years. George wore many hats. As an educator, he was ALWAYS ahead of his time. He read widely, discussed avidly, advocated always; as a mentor, he never failed to respond to my numerous inquiries. For me, he continues to be an inspirer. May George rest in peace.
