George was one of my earliest mentors in the Building Supply business at Parks Lumber Company in the 1970's. I was 17 and worked with he and Charles Parks in what became a long career in the lumber business. It is 47 years for me this year! George was a great teacher and a wonderful Christian man. He has always held a special place in my heart. Prayers and God's peace to his family in your loss of such a good and honorable man.
