Not sure what to say?

George operated on me more times than I care to remember. I always had full trust in his decisions and recommendations. I became more than just a patient as the years flew by. The last time I saw George, he was in SV, skiing and enjoying life. RIP, George. You will be greatly missed.

Some 30 years after Dr Wade worked on my knee, I still thank him for every float through powder and mountain summit my Wade knee allows. Get fit to play sports. Don´t play sports to get fit.

George was one of a kind, a wonderful man, extremely talented man and so proud of his son with all of his accomplishments. Will miss George/Dr. Wade immensely. So sorry for your loss, Jim.

I have known George since 4th grade and was a teammate with him and Ron Wishart on the Union HS track team. George was the best athlete I have ever personally known, especially when it came to the pole vault and running the 440. We kept in touch through the years, and whenever he came east to NJ, he would stop in for a cheerful visit. George was a very proud Father to Jim, a great, generous guy who always had a smile on his face, and is very much missed.

I've known George since 3rd grade in NJ. We walked to high school together and ran track and cross country at Union HS. I was there when he was inducted into the Union HS Sports Hall of Fame and when he received an award from the UHS Track Alumni Association. With us then was our other longtime school friend Jim Fischer and Jim's wife and my wife. We all got together every time George returned to NJ to visit his parents. I will try to add a photo later.

George Wade was a good man and a great physician. He explained what the surgery entailed and the level of rehab to get back to normal. Dr. Wade will be greatly missed.

I think it was in 1975 when we met George at the Pine Flat Campground where he & others were kayaking the S. F. of the Payette River Canyon. He would come to Idaho to kayak in the summers. I encouraged him to move to Boise for lots of boating opportunities, plus lots of football injuries to help heal. During our 50-year friendship, George was an amazing friend. We were piss-poor on an Idaho teacher's salary. So, when our son was born, George gave us a good camera because, "I want you to...

My sincere sympathies to the family & friends of Dr. Wade. I worked with him at St Alphonsus Medical Center in the 1980´s. He was an excellent & dedicated surgeon, an interesting person & a kind man. It was a pleasure to care for his pre & post op patients. I admired & am grateful to have known him. Such an amazing accomplished person. Mary Shelley, RN, CDMS, COHN-S, ARM (retired)
