My many sympathies go to the Wahlen family. Mr Wahlen was always one of my favorite patients. He brought a smile to my face and I enjoyed so much listening to his stories about his friends and family. Mr Wahlens family consistantly expressed their love and appreciation, and I have missed seeing them in the office. I will always carry their example with me.

Deepest condolences to the family of this fine man. He sat behind me in Veteran's Admin offices and was a wonderful co-worker and the finest friend. I enjoyed reading "The Quiet Hero" and deeply appreciate his bravery and contribution to the war effort. Even more, my late husband is buried in the cemetery at Camp Williams and we both appreciated the efforts of George, and all those who brought this fine resting place about. A salute to a fine soldier, man, and family man!

Your husband and father was an inspiration to so many. His courage, valor and heroism are legendary, and he will surely be missed. My sincere condolences for your loss; which is, I believe, a loss for our state and country as well.
