Not sure what to say?

George told a short story at a Tuesday meeting earlier this year that I will never forget.

He said he had gone to the car wash earlier that day and instructed the attendant to NOT use any ArmorAll on the inside of his car. When the attendant opened the door for George at the end of the line his car interior glistened with AmorAll. George smiled, handed him a Five and said, "Thank You". I learned more from that story than anything I heard at a meeting all of that year. Thanks, George....

Rocky, I'm sad to hear the news of your Dad. Thank you for allowing me into his life and sharing some golf ideas. I truly had some great times with George and considered him a friend.

My condolences;

"The Snakeman"

Dear Jackie and Family: I lost one of the most influential people in my life with George's passing.

George was like a father to me. I could always talk to him. I loved my father deeply but I found myself telling George things I couldn't tell my dad. He was tough. Tough on me as well. I always respected him for that. He did it out of love.

His love for independent banking and treatment of his customers was second to none. Rocky and I are so fortunate to have learned...

George- I will never forget you- My world is a better place because you were in it. You were at my first meeting at Ascension Luthern and you took me under your wings, you kept me safe, you taught me how to trust, how to show up and how to keep coming back. I can stay sober one day at a time because of all the experience, strength and hope you shared with me over the past 4 years. I love you so much and so grateful that God put us in each others lives- Keep an eye on us from up there!!!

Great MAN and George will be missed by many who knew him. I will miss him at the AA meetings.
God bless the family's

Mel, You and I both know your dad is in a much better place. He is at rest and with grampa. My deepest condolences and thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom and the rest of your family members.

Rocky, Jamie called to tell me about your dad. I am so sorry about your loss. When I remember all the years spent in Rose Hill, the Waitt family and Rose Hill State Bank are among my thoughts.

During my 35 year relationship with Mr. Waitt, known to me as "Rocky's dad" and my friend, it was very easy to identify why the entire Waitt family came to mean so much to me. I share the grief my own small way that they must feel and hope to continue my relationship with this amazing family for the rest of all of our days.

Rocky,it isn't easy letting go of your MENTOR "DAD". I see now you are a ship off of the BLOCK "DAD".
Not knowing your Dad, I do know you, therefore you will be able to follow in his foot-steps. Rocky I am a phone call away, good sounding board and listener e-mail me and I will be there.
Thinking of you
