Not sure what to say?

I will truly miss George- he was a mentor.a friend, and an inspiration. He truly was a gentleman and a dignified sportsman. He taught me how to swim, how to be a good coach and how to play excellent doubles tennis. It was my honor to know him and call him a friend. I will miss him dearly.

George, the "Fox", was one of the kindest, gentlest souls you will ever meet. Always smiling and encouraging. He lived a good and happy life, and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Tom & Wako: A truly unique individual, a competitor, a mentor and best of all, a friend. He will be greatly missed but never ever forgotten.

Dear Tom & Jim,
I was so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. He was on my mind just a few weeks ago. George was such a great friend to my parents. Always stopping by to say "hello" in their later years. I last saw your father in the Spring of 2006, when he stopped by the house on Brown Street to show my folks his new camera. I was visiting from Seattle because of my mother's illness. He took a picture of the three of us, the last picture I would have of my parents and myself....

My High School Coach and then later a tennis partner! Sad.

.To know him was to love him. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He was a man to be very proud of.

George was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life with a sense of humor to match. George attended my Bible Study at Park Rose every Saturday morning and his was the face I always looked for first. I cannot express how much I am going to miss him. After Bible Study, we always talked about the SU game that was going to take place and then we'd joke and he'd always 'high 5' me before I left...as I said to him...'stay out of trouble!!' He was one in a million and I am so glad George...

Coach was a special neighbor for many years that we lived in Elbridge. He was truly a very special man that loved every day of life and those he touched as he passed thru life.My kids and I will miss him dearly,he and Naomi used to watch them board the bus each school day and always could be counted on for a few boxes of Girl scout cookies as well. You will meet no one kinder and wiser than Coach. He was a man who would ask you how you were and truly wanted to know..always a smile ,and great...

RIP Coach, May God Bless You. I have many fond memories of Holiday parties at Mom and Dad's with Coach playing guitar, Tom Critz playing ukulele, Mom playing organ and everyone singing their hearts out. A wonderful man and a great friend of the family for years. My condolences to his family.
