George Morse Waldorf

I knew George from the many rifle matches we shot together. He was always a tough competitor. When you were in a match with George you had to bring your "A game". On the other of that coin, George was always ready to help a struggling newbie. When we were in "the Pits" scoring targets George would entertain us with stories of matches won and lost, fish too big to keep and hunting. We missed George when he retired from shooting and we'll miss him more now. He was a good friend.

I met George in the late 80's, where else, at a High Power Match. I always enjoyed visiting and shooting with him, over the years. Found him to be one of the most congenial people ever met. Rest easy my friend.
