George Sykes Wallen

George, Not a day goes by that I don´t think about you in some way and smile. You had such an impact on me, especially as I was becoming an adult. I miss you very much and love you.

George was my Uncle and over the last 20 years, a really great friend and confidant. Hattie, Bella, Ruby and I love and miss you George.

George's kindness and bright encouragement to everyone in the horse world in Charleston will always be remembered. It was so much fun to be around him and I admired him.

How do you say goodbye to one of your dearest friends? You don't. George, you will always have a place in my heart.
I hope you're up there riding those horses with Roger Odum.

I had the pleasure of getting to know George through the Augusta Futurity and other cutting horse gatherings. What a delightful personality he was. Although I didn't know him well, George made people feel like they were his special friend. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I know he will be greatly missed and I will hold the family and friends in prayer.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I have wonderful memories of George. He will be missed, but never forgotten. God Speed, rest in peace my friend...
