George Edward Ward III

George was a good man. He gave me my first appearance in Court as a lawyer, although it did not go well. I went in George's place to ask for an adjournment of a matter. The judge was not happy and insisted that George appear, which George eventually did. George was always a gentlemen and we always enjoyed his company.

We have lost another of the 'good guys' and a real 'class act'. I have known the great Ward team -- Margie and George -- since college days in the early 60s and am fortunate to have called them 'friends'. ...a great athlete, student, politician, lawyer, teacher -- and especially, a loving husband, father and grand-dad. Heaven will be a richer, happier place with George's arrival. My happy thoughts, good wishes, Irish prayers and warm memories are accompanying George on his journey home...
