Not sure what to say?

Mr. Weekes, it was a pleasure knowing you. So respectful, funny and such a gentleman, you will truly be missed. I hope all the people that loved you will have peace with you gone. I still can't believe that you are gone too soon :-(

My late parents Chick and Peg ALWAYS enjoyed George's company.
I could also tell how much he liked my Mom and Dad..a genuine nice guy who like to spin a yarn..
Will be missed ..

I went to High School with George. George was always ready with a kind word and made me feel good about myself whenever I spoke with him. My deepest sympathy to his family.

He was a close friend from 1st grade thru Senior year of High School and beyond. Introduced me to Jazz. We saw many shows together. His Mom and Dad were great people. Turns out my Dad and his Dad went to High School together. To his sisters, my deepest sympathy. Very sad to hear this news.

I met George thru a shared love of music 30 years ago. His knowledge and love of it was unsurpassed. He was at almost every show I went to back in the day. I called him Mr. Ubitquitous. Always good for an interesting convo. I still have cds he loaned me, but never asked me to return, Very generous in every way. I will miss him.

Rest in peace, George. Such a smiling fixture in Media. You will be missed.

We truly love George. We enjoyed every visit with him over the years when we travelled to Philly from Florida. It was always on our agenda see George, Etta and many of the other Philly relatives, sharing stories and memories of our large extended family of cousins. George was very thoughtful and a terrific listener and story teller himself. His ability to recall the small details was unbelievable. He was always smiling and laughed (a quiet giggle I can hear now) all the way through his...

George was a very good friend with whom we have many many wonderful memories of great times spent. As the years ticked on we saw less of each other but the memories of great times past are still very present. He was a very sweet man who will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers extended to his family.

George was a friend of mine in High school and we saw each other occasionally over the years afterwards. He was always in a good mood, interested in my journeys and glad to spend some time. I hope he was at peace and I"m sure it leaves a big hole in your family.
