To George's family: I knew George when I worked at the Johnson Art Museum as an assistant curator in the Asian art department. He took care of our offices! I liked him because he always had a kind, friendly hello, a bemused smile, funny comments and a wonderful human presence. When my husband and I were getting ready to move, George showed up with a stack of cardboard egg cartons for us to use for packing (some of which I still have!), a thoughtful, generous act. I'll always remember him...

I was saddened to read the news of your father's death. He always remembered us 'Stilwell girls' and spoke with us whenever we would see him. He was a sweet man. May your favorite memories comfort you at this difficult time.
