George promoted me to my first management job as Plant Foreman located in Prattville in 1963. He impressed me from that beginning as a gentleman and a man with spiritual values. Our careers took different paths after three years but I have always remembered the guideance and example George set. We both stayed in the Montgomey and Auburn area for many years and continued our friendship.

He will missed and remembered by his many friends and associates he had through life....

To the family of Mr. George Weldon, Jr. I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Weldon was blessed with 94 years of special mightiness. (Psalms 90:10) May your hearts be filled with joyful memories of time spent with him as you remember a life well lived, and may the Hearer of Prayer bring you strength and peace in your time of sorrow. Again, please accept my sincerest condolences.

My dear friend George, another chapter in our book of life closes but memories will last until our end. You and I would laugh and say, "enjoy the ride on angles wings".

Mr. And Mrs. Weldon were an inspiration to my wife Diane and I for many years. We are so sorry for the loss of them both. We think they were the most precious couple we had ever known. Thank God for their imprint they have left on our lives. May God give you peace in knowing they are in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ!

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Mr. & Mrs. Weldon exemplify the meaning of lives well-lived. I know you will miss them terribly. Scott, Paula, Tay and Sadie... you are in my thoughts and prayers.
