Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking of my uncle earlier today before I heard the news, actually imagining another chance to visit with him. I did not know he was sick and I hope he did not suffer. I know he will be missed by many. My prayers and condolences for all who are grieving his departure from here.

I met Doc in 2001, right after the 9/11 attacks, and enjoyed our discussions and arguments ever since. I will NEVER forget his visit to my farm, and the look on his face when, after he'd ask if he could go down to our barn and look at the cows, he broke into a HUGE grin and practically skipped the 200 yards to the barn. It was just like watching a kid in a candy shop. I will miss his wit and wisdom and sharing a dinner or two...

My condolences to the family of Dr. Whatley. He was my physician many years ago who was caring as well as providing excellent medical care. He had a good sense of humor--a dry wit. Without making light of his medical care for me, he had a way of making the problem and the treatement a little lighter to bear. I will miss running into him around Birmingham and chatting with him.

The family of Dr. George Barry Whatley would like to share their condolences with his niece Darlene Durr of Huntsville, Alabama. She is the daughter of Thomas Whatley youngest brother of Dr George Whatley also deceased.
