I knew George and Doris from San Juan PR, as my father was also a USCG Officer. I spent a number of days with George when he was the weekend OOD. My fasanation with engineering was being nutrued by him. He would explain complex mechanical operating systems to me. These times in life are some my most cheerist ones. I owe my engineering career to him. I often reflect on these times and it brings a smile.

George was my cousin and was always a good guy, Sympathy to his children and grandchildren Remember all the good memories

Maggie, deepest sympathy to you and your family. I recently lost my mom in April so losing the second parent. I know how you feel. Hugs to you.

So sorry for your loss! George was one of a kind and always made you laugh with his stories! He will be greatly missed, but I know he's having a great time with Doris and Bernie!
