Not sure what to say?

While working with him at the S.F. Chronicle for many years he was always there to help others. In life he would be called a giver! It was a pleasure to have know him and all he did for many other people that crossed his life.

I worked with George at the S.F. Chronicle for many of those thirty plus years. It was a pleasure to have known him and spent many nights working with him at the newspaper. He was very active in the union and helped keep the union strong and making the workplace a better place to be. His outside contributions to helping others throughout his life was very commendable. I am glad to have known him and he has indeed made the world a better place to live in and work.

Rest In Peace great giver, may you will be missed, but not forgotten-----Scott Weaver

The friendship blossed into his becoming my co-leader of the Yokefellow #1 group at the Garden Chapel, San Quentin Prison (a support group for inmates); working in the South Hayward Parish (an ecumenical endeavor); working in the producton of the musical, "The Fantastiks"; and, to a friendship that has lasted over the years. I last saw him on a lay-over at O'Hare airport here in Chicago three...

It was his wish and my Honor to be with him during the most difficult time in his life, I will never forget him!
