George Curry Wilson George Curry Wilson, age 54, passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, in Waco.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. at St. John Episcopal Church in Marlin.

Curry was born in Marlin on Sept. 16, 1968, to George B. Wilson Jr. and Ruth Ann Wilson. He graduated from Marlin High School in 1987. Curry attended Sam Houston State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Business in 1991. During his professional career, Curry was employed at numerous beverage distribution companies. Before retiring in early 2022, he worked at Glazers for over 20 years and most recently held a position as District Sales Manager. Curry never met a stranger and he thoroughly enjoyed his work and talking with friends daily.

In 1994, he married Miss Jennifer Haak of Marlin. Curry and Jennifer had one child, George Calan Wilson, in 2006. He was always proud of Calan's accomplishments and never missed the chance to talk to others about "GC."

Curry was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson. He is survived by his son, Calan Wilson; his ex-wife, Jennifer Wilson; his sister, Ann Lloyd and husband Michael Lloyd; his nieces, Sarah Williams and Claire Lloyd; and many cousins and friends.
