George Wingard

George became a family friend after working with my wife, Tracy, at Opelika MetalFab. I was an Enlisted Sailor and he was a mentor during my commissioning process and early in my career. He gifted me his Air Force Major collar devices at my commissioning, and I wore them when I promoted to Lieutenant Commander. Time flies and life happens...we were not aware of his health issues.
