George Worden

George was a good man.

I respected him.

Sorry to hear the passing of my boss during our employment for MEA. I give my condolence to the family of George.

George Worden was, by far, my favorite teacher. He is probably the biggest reason I spent 33 years teaching math to students. What a great teacher and a wonderful man.

Mr. Worden was my high school mathematics teacher (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II and Trig). I spent many hours in classrooms throughout my education . . . elementary school to a graduate degree. By far, he was the finest teacher I ever had and as a public school teacher myself, a wonderful role model for me. My condolences to his family.

George was a wonderful story teller and will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear, dear friend, Mr. George Worden. We, as the past leadership of the Muskegon Heights Education Association (MHEA), were truly blessed to be greatful recipients of his wise and steadfast counsel for several years during which he worked as a Uniserv Director for the Michigan Education Association (MEA). My sincere condolances to George's family. Although I did not know him well, I saw enough to know he was a classy, stand up guy who gave his all to his commitments. I attended some of the Retired Educators meetings where he presided and know that group is going to dearly miss him- a true professional in every sense of the word.
My prayers are with you as you grieve the passing of this wonderful person.
