George Worden was, by far, my favorite teacher. He is probably the biggest reason I spent 33 years teaching math to students. What a great teacher and a wonderful man.

Mr. Worden was my high school mathematics teacher (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II and Trig). I spent many hours in classrooms throughout my education . . . elementary school to a graduate degree. By far, he was the finest teacher I ever had and as a public school teacher myself, a wonderful role model for me. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear, dear friend, Mr. George Worden. We, as the past leadership of the Muskegon Heights Education Association (MHEA), were truly blessed to be greatful recipients of his wise and steadfast counsel for several years during which he worked as a Uniserv Director for the Michigan Education Association (MEA). All who came to know George will remember him as a true friend and confidant who will be sadly missed. Our prayers are with the family as you...

My sincere condolances to George's family. Although I did not know him well, I saw enough to know he was a classy, stand up guy who gave his all to his commitments. I attended some of the Retired Educators meetings where he presided and know that group is going to dearly miss him- a true professional in every sense of the word.
My prayers are with you as you grieve the passing of this wonderful person.
