It was so good to see you and your beautiful children at the funeral. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in your class at church listening to you and George teach us and inspire us. I can't tell you enough what an inspiration you were to me, at a very crucial time in my life when I desperately needed that inspiration and guidance. Dear Melinda,

One of my visiting teachers – Judy Murray – just told me about George. My father always says there isn’t any such thing as “good grief.” But when you KNOW you are sealed for time and eternity to the man of your dreams, and that he will greet you on the other side of the veil, perhaps the grief is made just a little more bearable. We will remember you in our prayers.

My deep condolences to you all. George is an icon, and a man full of fun, crazy times. Bigger than life, his family and friends meant the world to him. His Hawaiian roots were with him all his life in how he lived and treated everyone.

George and I worked at TSI/CMS for 5 years and I was honored to call him a friend. He knew how to lead and he truly cared for people. He will be missed by all. May the spirit be with his family at this difficult time.
