We have known Georgia and Joe since the 1980's, early in our Navy days for us. Over the many years and a great distance, we live in California, we have remained close friends. We would see each other about every five years. When we would see Georgia after one of these long spells, she would always pick up where we left off as if we had just seen her the day before. She and Joe were very close to our children and served as sponsors for our two sons during their USNA midshipmen days. We...
