Georgia Rawley Herrlich

HERRLICH, Georgia Rawley - Of Flint, age 85, died on Monday, May 17, 2004 at Argentine Care Center. Memorial service will be held at a later date at Unitarian Universalist Church G-2474 South Ballenger Highway, Flint. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Flint Community Players. Mrs. Herrlich was born in Bay City, Michigan on December 23, 1918, the daughter of George and Mary V. Rawley, and was a resident of Genesee County most of her life. She was a founding member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Flint. She was a very active member of the Flint Community Players and theater was her life. She was a supporter and contributor to many community activities, especially jazz and musicians. Along with her late husband, Jack, she owned and operated Herrlich Drug Stores in Flint. They were also world travelers. Surviving are daughter, Gael Edmonds of Flint; son, the artist, Michael Rawley of Flint; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1991.
