I worked for Matt and Louise in 1969 at their law office on Ridge Road in Gary. I wasn't very good at secretarial skills like shorthand and I just learned to use an IBM Selectric...but they were so kind and so good to me. I needed a job in college and they patiently let me learn their procedures and never let on that I could have been "sharper".
I have happy memories of Louise and those times. I send my sympathies to their children and to Geraldine...who I knew from Grace Methodist...
