My Aunt Georgi.. She was a true light to my soul...She helped me out greatly with my Vanessa...She had a kind-hearted spirit..Always giving and caring about us..She will truly be missed.. love always...Mary Catherine

Georgi had a huge impact on the arc of my life/career... I met Jim and Georgi when a freshman at UCSD and I took a reading improvement class at City College, where my father taught as well. Once I got my teaching credential and was hired by City Schools, Georgi was always supportive. We got to work together at Gompers for a few months....and I eventually was principal at Lewis Middle. and Mission Bay High.... Additionally she was friends with my parents and even brought my Russian...

I came to know and love Georgi through Altrusa. She was generous with her time and talents and always had a warm welcome when I visited her home. She was a very talented painter as well, and I will always cherish the Yosemite painting she gifted me; I have it hanging on my wall. Georgi was a beautiful, intelligent and sweet woman who will be very missed by many near and far. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. We lost a true gem.

I have fond memories of Georgie as we worked together in Administrative Women in Education. She was a star then and seems to have been an even brighter one in her later years. Condolences to her daughter and her many friends.
