Your dad was a wonderful man and the best of neighbors to us. He and your mom were always so friendly, always ready to sit and visit with us. I will never forget that during the first vacation we took after Jacob was born (he must have been around 3) Jacob said he wanted to go home because he missed Gerry and Verna.

I remember Uncle Gerry from my childhood years with such fond memories... he was always smiling... Since I have lived in Texas most of my life, I had only seen him sporadically over the years. Recently though, in August of this year, I visited Pennsylvania again and had the privilege and honor of seeing him again.
