Gerald Ames

I met Jerry when I was working summers while in High School. He was the most fun and the best guy ever. We were friends for many years he took pictures at my wedding. He organized my baby shower when I left Standard Oil. He was definitely one the best friends and love of my life. I know you are in heaven happy as can be. God Bless You!

I was sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. His mother Marcella, and my mother Edna Bauer grew up together. The Ames's were always part of my family growing up. I will miss his laughter and his sense of humor and also stories of San Francisco and the Russian River. May he rest in peace and know that he made a difference in the world.

Jerry and I were friends from High School until we last spoke a few days before he passed. He was a wonderful friend and a true love. We shared many, many fun times-dating, Russian River days, friendships, and sharing the joys of a Godson. Laughter was a big part that held us together. Till we meet again, old friend...

Dear Jerry, such a gift to have known him, loved listening to his stories. I swear he knew everyone in SF, was so warm and friendly.

Jerry was a class act and always in my life. I shall miss him so, but am comforted by the wonderful memories that we shared. RIP my friend.
