Not sure what to say?

This dear and dedicated man actually made house calls--I remember him fondly during my bouts with tonsillitis as a child--and when he administered "gamma globulin" to my two younger sisters to lighten their exposure when I had a severe case of measles. Perhaps the most dramatic event was the time when I was twelve and bumped my head in the bathtub causing a scalp laceration...and his light-hearted demeanor when he located that cut on my head, resulting in a great spurt of blood on both his...

Dr.B was our family doctor when I was a child and when I moved back to Grand Rapids, he delivered my youngest child. Never being one to like going to the doctor, I could always know that the experience would be "painless" at Dr. B's - wish there were more like him. He will be missed.

Dr. Barofsky was our family doctor until he left the practice at Alger & Eastern. I remember the posters of ski slopes that he had on the ceiling over the exam table, and his pretzel jar, which he would open for us after our appointment was over for "being such a big girl!" What a busy, full life he lived, using his skills to help others for so many years! You have my sympathy in the loss of such a dear father and grandfather.

Fred and I had some good and funny trips with Jerry and Betty. We remember both of them with love.
To the family we offer our sympathy and our hope that soon they will remember the good times.

A legacy of kindness, many fun memories, and a beautiful family. Salute Dr. B.

I am deeply sorry to hear of the death of Uncle Gerry.
We all loved him very much. His kindness and sense of humor
will be missed.
Love,

Dear Cousins, We have lost contact over the years but I do have wonderful memories of you and your Dad...He was the best. He had a great sense of humor and was so generous. Peter and I stayed with him on our honeymoon and then again years later with Phoebe and Charlotte. He enjoyed life, loved good food - and made us some fabulous oysters- He was the best brother that my mother ever had and was certain of that! I am sorry that so many years have gone by and I have not been in touch. I...
