Read MoreAs I looked today to attempt to reconnect to my friend and ex-boss, I was truly saddened to find this. What a dear man Jerry was! Kind, funny and of course, ornery which is what I loved the most about him. I'm so sorry for this loss and am upset that I didn't keep in closer contact with Jerry. My deepest sympathy. I met Jerry in 1966, we were neighbors in Tallahassee. He was a wonderful person, a joy to know.
Jerry came into lives and touched hearts. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
