Gerald Vance Burgess

Gerald Vance Burgess, age 74 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Memphis, died Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was a native of Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Coral Gables, Florida and was the son of the late Gloe Vance Burgess and Ethel Louise Wiseman Burgess.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marlene Burgess; a son, Jason Burgess and wife Jennifer; grandsons, Reed and Jack Burgess, all of Murfreesboro; a sister, Barbara Elkins of Memphis; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Gerald retired as a freelance graphic designer and account manager from World Color Press in Covington, TN.
