Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Kevin, Dennis, Nancy and Bertha. I always enjoyed Jerry’s company. His was a free and independent spirit, unbound by traditions or conventions. He lived his life on his own conditions, not those set up for him by his culture or milieu. May his free spirit soar now that Jerry is no longer bound by the weight of his human frailty. Jerry, you were a joy to know. I am so sorry for your loss, those of you who were dear to him. God bless you and may He give Jerry’s soul the...

To Bertha and every menber of his family, please accept my warm condolonces

I was very sad to hear about Jerry's passing. I have known him for over 30 years.
We worked together at Avis rent a car. Long time ago He also is my daughter's Godfather thru Baptism. He was a man of kind heart and always willing to give you a smile. GOD will receive him with loads of love in heaven.

Who among his friends, can forget the commaraderie & tradition when celebrating New Years @ the family cabin in Brookdale. To me, Jerry had a quiet, calm way about him. When he did raise a lil' hell, it was as if it were condoned by the Archbishop himself. The last time I saw Jerry, he was concerning himself about helping someone he knew going through a rough patch. By nature he was one of the most selfless people I'll ever have the pleasure knowing. 'Go raibh maith agat & Slan'.

I'm sorry to hear about Jerry. I used to live next door to the Callaghans on Ottawa St. when we were really young. His dad, Frank, was my sister's god father.

Dear Bertha-Maria, Kevin, Dennis & Nancy, I am so sorry for your sudden and very sad loss. I was Jerry's classmate at St. Emydius and remember many fun times with the Callaghan's, Duggan's and the Hallisy's. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love,
Mary Male Schembri and the Male Family
