Foster-Warne Funeral Home - Audubon Obituary

On July 15, 2025, of Pennsauken, NJ.  He was 66 years old.


Beloved husband of Marianne T. Campise.  Dear father of William Campise, Patrick (Stephanie) Campise and Daniel Campise.  Loving grandfather of P.J., Liam and Jude.  Son of Lillian and the late Paul Campise.  He is also lovingly survived by his brothers, Paul and Danny and sisters, Georgeanne, Diane and Tina and many nieces and nephews.


Gerald was the owner of Campise Carpentry, Pennsauken, NJ.


Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Wednesday, July 23, 10 AM to 11 AM at St. Stephen's Parish, 6306 Browning Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109.  Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM.  Interment private.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Epilepsy Foundation NJ, 3817 Crosswicks-Hamilton Square Rd., Suite 343, Hamilton, NJ 08691.

Jerry and I grew up three houses from each other in Ramblewood. We were the same age and went through the public school system together. We were friends as well and I have many great memories of hanging out at 124. I hadn’t seen or spoken to Jerry in decades, but the memories of our friendship will stay with me forever. Rest well my friend.

Will miss you dearly my brother. You were the kindest of us all.

Gerry Campise had been my next door neighbor since 2005. He was a good man, husband, father, a talented contractor and had a singular sense of humor. He was a great neighbor. His wife Marianne used to babysit my kids when they were little. Gerry also helped me with many home improvement projects. Not long ago, he had expressed wanting to learn how to play the guitar and I gave him one. We were supposed to meet for a few lessons, but unfortunately that never took place.
