Gerald G. "Jerry" Carnes

I have many fond memories of "Mr. Carnes" as he was known to us at Waco Public School. He was a strong presence and solid administrator there before our consolidation into Centennial Public. My parents had he and Jan over after games or we would go to their place. I last saw and visited them at Mom's funeral in York and it was great fun revisiting memories of those days. I thank the family for sharing him with us and having him as a mentor in those early years.
