Not sure what to say?

I only recently found out of Gerry's passing. I am truly saddened by this news. I worked with Gerry for a short time in Charlotte. I didn't know him very well, but I always remembered is outgoing personality and smile.

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.

Gerry - rest in eternal peace.

Mike, Beth and Family, sending you hugs and prayers. Love, Jim and Rafael Smith

All of our thoughts, prayers and support surround you. "Shorty", known to his Emporia friends, was one of the really good guys. He will be fondly remembered in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. There is no doubt of how much he loved you, Jan, and his love for his children and grandchildren. One look tells the story of the love and a life well lived.

So sorry to hear about Gerry. I worked with him at Oracle for several years. I will always remember his warm smile and sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Michael and Beth; Our condolences to you and your family.

From the first day I met Gerry as he walked toward the tennis courts at Willow Springs Country Club, I knew he was my kind of guy. Big smile, outrageous warm up suit and a great hand-shake. We were friends and buddies from that day forward. A great guy with a great family.

Jan, Heather, and Michael,
I am so sorry for your loss. Of all the friends I made during my time at ESU and the fraternity, Gerry was one of the few with whom I have maintained periodic contact, and that was mostly because of his initiative. We exchanged periodic emails and he was always encouraging me to attend reunion functions. He was truly a special person and friend. I will miss being able to exchange memories and follow his family activities on FB.

Don and I loved playing tennis with you and Gerry at CCR. HE WAS ALWAYS SMILING AND LAUGHING WHETHER WINNING OR LOSING. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. I KNOW A PIECE OF YOUR HEART IS MISSING, BUT I BELIEVE HE IS IN HEAVEN LOOKING AFTER YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! Sending love and prayers to you and your family.

Gerry and I knew each other for more than 40 years and though we went our separate ways many times our paths continued to cross. He was the same great person when I first met him and that did not ever change. He will be missed by all of us.
