Not sure what to say?

Sherry, I saw the obituary in the Deseret News about Jerry and wanted you to know that I still after all these years remember fondly our years together at Stanford in the Deseret Club. Those were wonderful times with wonderful people like you and Jerry. May the Lord bless you, Jim Pingree

Dr. Davey was my "Science for Non-Science Majors" instructor in the Honors Program back in 1991 at the University, aka--"Math for all the artsy-types who don't like math." Regularly, still, I bring him up in conversation as one of the most loving, kind professors I ever had, who also managed to make sense out of calculus for me. I will forever be grateful for his patience with me. May those who miss him most find peace and love through this time.

Sherry and family,
My deepest sympathy at this time. Jerry was a remarkable and loving man. I'll not forget our early times together.

Patricia Hansen (Jim Hansen) Wimmer

I met Dr. Davey at the University of Utah, when we both worked in the Math department. I remember Dr. Davey as a very kind man, very sweet and very caring towards his students. When he left the Math department at the U, he was missed by all. I thought of him often and wondered how his retirement was going. I'm glad he got to spend it with his family. God bless him, and your family. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Sherry and Family,
It has been years since we last saw you and Jerry at a West German Missionary reunion. He was such a great influence on many young missionaries. The world says
Auf Wiedersehen to a giant of a man. May the Lord keep you in the hallow of his hands till we meet Jerry again.

Sherry and Family, We are remembering you with sincere sympathy, much love and great caring at this tender time. Jerry is such a wonderful man, husband, father and grandfather. We feel privileged to be a part of his extended family. How we wish we could be with you at his funeral service in California on Friday. You will each be remembered with love,
The Larry and Terri Jensen Family
