Gerald "Jerry" Deters

I first knew Jerry as we both attended Sunday school at Creston Chr Reformed Church, though he was a couple years older. Years later, Jerry became my sponsor when joining a fraternity at U of M. I will always remember Jerry as very caring, sincere, and honest, but also very fun loving and fun to be around. He even made a trip to the dentist an enjoyable experience! Most importantly I will always remember his commitment as a follower of Jesus. Jerry's life was well lived. God bless you...

Jerry and I grew up on the same street just a few doors from each other and became lifetime friends. We went to the same grade school (2 years apart) , the same high school and ultimately both graduated from the University of Michigan. In recent years we E-mailed and did Messaging on a constant basis. We talked about politics, cars and sports(mostly about the Wolverines)- our discussions alway had a lot of humor and laughs . I´m going to miss you Jerry- May God be with you and your family....

Knew Jerry since 1979 when I started working for him chairside. So very sad to have to say goodbye. So many cherished memories. Our friendship was a blessing from God.

Jerry was a great car friend. Always enjoyed his sense of humor. We had some great trips to Corvette shows. Many great memories of over 50 years of freindship. Prayers for Robin and the Family.

Dr. Deters was my dentist for many many years. He always made the visit enjoyable and we had many laughs together. I am sorry for your loss and may God give you comfort.
