Not sure what to say?

Remaining in fond memory of Fr Gerry. Where does time go?

Remembering you with respect and love - Jeanne Macisco

How is it possible that 10 years have gone by since Fr. Gerry passed. I fondly remember our days together as classmates at St. Charles grammar school in Bridgeport, Now, many decades ago.

Gerry — I have missed you everyday and have thought of you often over these past 10 years. Those memories of our friendship always bring a smile to my face, remembering your giant smile and your love and embracement of me and my children. You were such a special part of our lives and the void is still felt everyday. Love and miss you!

I have celebrated masses for Rev Gerald T Devore and l shall remember him always. He was a great man. I was touched by his fraternal spirit. Through his fraternity and hospitality l flew from Rome-Fiumicino to New York -J F Kennedy Airport for summer supply at a wonderful parish of St Maurice in Stamford CT in July 2001. I was studying in Rome at that time. When I was teaching at a Philosophate Seminary in Zimbabwe in 2002, l visited St Maurice for the second time. He linked me with Rev Baaju...

It is hard to believe that 9 years have gone by since your passing to the Heavenly Father. Still think of you. Gone - but not forgotten.

I love you Jerry. It's only through you back in the days of the Newman Center at UB that I have a lively love of HIM. Now that is the only comfort I can offer or feel, knowing that we are still connected. It hurts not to be able to call and hear your voice, but I heard Dan's yesterday, and he's going to let me call him now. We cried together. Enjoy your new place.
Much Love,

Dear Brother Dan,

Just heard the news today via a post-it note from Mary Sliwinski attached to a photo of her son's ice hockey team.... Joan had opened the envelope containing the note and we both just appeared dumbfounded. We spoke with Jerry the day he had returned from his latest "cruise" within the last couple of weeks. He sounded very well but was tired and headed for bed. That was around 1/4 or 1/6/11. Joan subsequently sent him a christmas present check. I'm still sort...

Dan,
I am in Hillsboro Beach and was shocked to hear of Jerry's death. Sorry I wasn't able to be at his funeral. It has been some time since I last talked to him. I have celebrated mass for him and prayed. He was such a wonderful friend. My deepest sympathy for your sorrow. Hillsboro Beach isn't very far from West Palm. Give me a call.
