This picture is from Barnegat Day, 2009...

Please know that though we are physically no there with you, our hearts, thoughts and prayers will always be there. We will miss Capt'n Gerry, and fondly remember our times with him. Favorite memory was when Monti brought him the "skull rings" to give out to the children. His eyes where practically twinkling. He was a great man, a great friend and yes, a pirate...His vision behind the camera will be missed by all...Love from Lucretia and Monti

Patrice, I'm so sorry. Cap'n Jerry was well-loved and respected. Please know that you will always have friends among the pirates and if you ever need anything, call on us.

My condolences, Patrice.

Patrice, as you know Gerry and I have been friends for many years. You were both so caring for each other and I can only imagine what a loss this is for you. Gerry was so special as a friend as he was always supportive, fun and willing to share his knowledge . He will be soo missed but he is with God ~ a place he has earned.

Dear Patrice,
My heart goes out to you as I know that Jerry was your confidant, friend and companion and there is no replacement for such an important person in your life. Although I didn't know him, I know that you two had a wonderful relationship whose memory you will cherish for ever. May God continue to bless you now in your time of loss and forever as you honor his memory every day. With caring....

I have know Jerry for 47 years and he was my best friend. We went to school with him, we worked together as boat hands, shade hanger, auto machinist taxis drivers and in sound and video. He was a big help when I came back from the service. He will be missed very much. Jerry made an impression on everyone he came in contact with. My thought are with you Patrice Sherman Covey long time friend
