To Jerry Doerr Family
We are so sad to hear of Jerry's passing. Our memories are filled with all the great times around the ball fields that brought us together so many years ago. The fact those memories are still so vivid yet today is a tribute to Jerry and your entire family. May God be with you during these difficult days.

Barb and family, just found about jerry's passing....so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

HERB(MOOSE), PLAYING BALL WITH GERRY AND YOU FOR YOUR DAD WAS ONE OF THE BEST TIMES OF MY LIFE. WE WERE ONE BIG FAMILY. MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU AND BARB AND THE GIRLS. I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU GUYS. TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS BOB KUBCZAK

Dear Herb and the rest of Jerry's family: I am so sorry for your loss of this dear man. I knew Jerry from his earliest ball playing days at Hoyt Park to his later days at Vets Park...Jerry played the game as I am sure that he coached and taught...he did so with passion, fun and always kept things in perspective. He lived life to the fullest and it is sad that you did not have more time with Jerry. My prayers for all of you so that you can continue on without him but carry yourself as you...

Mr. Doerr was hands down one of the best teachers I have ever had. I will never forget him and what he taught me.

Barb, Herb, Janet, Joanne and Susan.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. The Doerr family has always been very special to me. I feel very fortunate to have known Jerry for such a long time and to count him as a very dear friend. His contributions to youth as both an educator and coach will be part of his legacy. God Bless you.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I went to school with him and Barb - both great people. Thoughts and prayers are with the family. God Bless you. Barb Amon-Weigandt
